Fairmont Lift Station

The City of La Porte is seeking competitive bids for the Fairmont Lift Station Project, which includes the design and construction of a new wet well, valve box, and associated subsurface utility piping. The project requires the replacement of the existing wastewater lift station with a new 14-foot diameter wet well, a new control building, new pumps, and associated infrastructure improvements. The contractor shall provide all necessary superintendence, labor, machinery, equipment, tools, and materials to complete the work. The project includes site paving, fencing, electrical systems, and abandonment of the existing lift station facilities. • The project requires a pre-bid meeting, which is scheduled for July 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM. • The bid submission deadline is July 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. • The city reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive all technicalities. • The project requires a bid bond in an amount equal to not less than 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. • The city will evaluate bids based on the bidder's qualifications, experience, and price.
