Description
Texas State Technical College (TSTC) is issuing an RFP for a turnkey replacement of aging vehicle lifts in the Kultgen Automotive Center at its Waco campus. The work is divided into three phases: (1) de‑installation of 12 existing two‑post lifts, (2) supply and installation of 13 new Challenger CL10AV3 two‑post lifts with all utilities, testing, and disposal of packaging, and (3) relocation and re‑installation of one existing 4‑post and one 2‑post lift to new bays. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, concrete patching, shipping, disposal, and a minimum one‑year labor/installation warranty, as well as operator training. An optional site walk is scheduled for 11 Nov 2026; proposals are due 12 Nov 2026. The preferred execution window is the student winter break (Dec 21 – Jan 10).
• Scope: De‑install, install, relocate, and certify automotive lifts (total 13 new + 2 relocated).
• Deliverables: Fully functional lifts, concrete repairs, utility connections, warranty documentation, and staff training.
• Timeline: Must be completed within the Dec 21‑Jan 10 window; lead time for lift delivery to be detailed in proposal.
• Evaluation: 50 % price, 30 % project approach, 20 % lead time/timeline.
• Optional site walk 11 Nov 2026 (2 pm CT).
