Description
The Sparta Area Schools are seeking electrical contracting bids for LED lighting upgrades at the Ridgeview Elementary school. The scope of work includes providing 1 for 1 replacement of all fixtures, installing new occupancy sensors and power packs, rewiring where needed, and installing new dimmers and dimming wire. The contractor will be responsible for removing existing fixtures, maintaining clean working conditions, and providing a performance bond. Bidders must have at least 5 years of experience in this scope of work, be licensed and insured, and have the financial resources to complete the project.
• The project is expected to be completed during summer break, June 6, 2026 – August 1, 2026.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond and performance bond.
• The contractor must certify that they are not an Iran-linked business.
• The contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and prevailing wages.
• The contractor must provide insurance requirements as shown in the certificate of liability insurance.
