The Massachusetts Maritime Academy is seeking qualified contractors to completely replace the existing built‑up roof on the Kelly Power Plant building with a cold‑applied SBS‑modified bituminous insulated roofing system that meets current energy code standards. The scope includes removal of the existing roof system, installation of the new roofing membrane, and full replacement of all perimeter flashings, scuppers, rain leaders, and counter‑flashings at masonry wall conditions. This is a single‑site, institutional roofing project valued at approximately $290 K and subject to state‑mandated wage and minority‑participation requirements.
