High Temperature Black Body

The United States Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of delivering a High Temperature Black Body system. The system must meet the mandatory technical requirement of a 3,000°C maximum operating temperature. Interested parties are requested to submit a capability package that provides clear and convincing evidence of their ability to provide the system. The package should include company information, point of contact, business size status, and other relevant details. • The system must meet the mandatory technical requirement of a 3,000°C maximum operating temperature. • The system will be used to conduct high-fidelity research and education in optical engineering, supporting critical national defense objectives. • Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. • Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted via email no later than Friday, 30 January 2026, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time.
