Budget estimate

$300,000 – $600,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work and the unit prices provided in the bid sheet. The total bid price will be calculated by multiplying the estimated quantities by the unit prices, and adding the lump-sum prices. The project involves the removal and disposal of approximately 300 cubic yards of sediment, with the possibility of additional work every other year for up to 4 years. The unit prices for dredging and dewatering of nonhazardous sediment are around $10 to $50 per cubic yard, and for hazardous sediment are around $50 to $100 per cubic yard. The total bid price can be estimated to be around $3,000 to $30,000 for the base bid, and around $6,000 to $60,000 for the alternative bid. The budget for the project will depend on the actual quantities of work performed and the unit prices bid by the contractor.
