Description
The project involves the removal and satisfactory disposal of dredged material excavated from the Tiger Pass Bar Channel and identification of utilities within the limits shown on the contract drawings. The estimated time of completion is 135 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation includes 5 drawings and specifications, and no dike work is included in this project. The bid opening will be conducted virtually, and the award will be made as a whole to one bidder. The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, and the contract completion time will be adjusted in accordance with the clause FAR 52.211-18, Variation in Estimated Quantity. The contractor must also comply with the National Dredging Quality Management Program System Requirements and provide a dedicated onboard computer for use by the Dredging Quality Management system.
