Description
This project involves maintenance dredging of the Freshwater Bayou channel, with the removal and disposal of material above elevation -16.0 MLG. The work requires the transportation and deposition of dredged material on the Gulf shoreline. The project has a magnitude of construction between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The contractor must provide a dedicated onboard computer for the Dredging Quality Management (DQM) system, which will transmit data to the DQM database in real-time. The contractor must also maintain an archive of all data sent to the DQM computer and provide it to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) upon request. Key considerations for this project include the ability to perform dredging operations, data management and transmission, and quality control.
