Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services is offering for sale scrap residue derived from the Mutilation and Demilitarization of controlled property. The Purchaser shall perform all requirements outlined in this contract at the bid price submitted. The material offered consists of mixed metals scrap, including assorted sizes of HY80, HY100, and HTS derived from submarine hulls and other materials generated at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) facilities.
• The contract will consist of processing materials off-site at the Purchaser's owned or leased facility within 75 miles of DLA Disposition Services Lewis.
• The Purchaser must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The contract will be for a 24-month base period of performance with three 12-month option periods.
• The Purchaser is responsible for obtaining all required permits to accomplish Demilitarization/Mutilation processing and transportation.
• The Purchaser shall submit a comprehensive operational plan for loading, removal, and demilitarization/mutilation activities.
