16 Week Welder Training Course

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is seeking a vendor to provide a 16-week welder training course. The course should cover AWS approved Shielded Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW-S Short Curcuit), GMAW Spray Transfer, and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW). The preferred period of performance is from 29 June 2026 to 16 October 2026. The vendor should be able to provide formal industry-issued certifications with course completion certificates. The evaluation factors include technical acceptability, price, and past performance. • The course should be accredited by the corresponding accreditors, including American Welding Society (AWS), Betenbender, Hobart Institute of Welding Technology (HIWT), and the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3). • The vendor should be able to provide all 24 required certification courses stipulated in the Statement of Work. • The vendor should be able to meet the required period of performance dates. • The price should be reasonable and in accordance with FAR 12.203. • The vendor's past performance will be evaluated based on the Supplier Performance Risk System.
