Description
The City of Cincinnati is seeking a sports management company to operate and manage the Lindner Family Tennis Center at Lunken Playfield, providing expertise in large multi-surface tennis and pickleball operations. The selected company will work with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission to achieve program goals, including scheduling leagues and tournaments, staffing, maintenance, and customer service. The company will also be responsible for promoting the facility, managing concessions, and ensuring quality customer service. The contract will be for a base term of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year terms.
Key responsibilities include:
• Scheduling and coordinating tennis and pickleball leagues and tournaments
• Staffing and managing staff, including hiring, onboarding, and scheduling
• Maintaining the facility, including daily cleaning and maintenance
• Promoting the facility and managing concessions
• Ensuring quality customer service and responding to customer concerns
• Working with schools and community organizations to promote the facility and increase participation
