Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase a sterile storage cabinet to mitigate temperature and humidity in their service sterile storage areas. The cabinet must maintain a temperature of 66° F to 72° F and humidity of 20% to 60%, with positive pressure maintained within the cabinet. The cabinet should be similar to the Air Innovations SSC 4500, with overall dimensions of at least 30" wide x 32" deep x 76" high, and have features such as stainless steel pull-out shelves, HEPA filtration, and a self-modulating fan system. The manufacturer must provide on-site installation, set-up, and training.
• The cabinet must meet or exceed the requirements of VA Directive 1116(2)
• The cabinet must have easily cleanable hospital-grade 304 stainless steel construction
• The cabinet must have a capability to interface with VA network environmental monitoring
• The manufacturer must provide user and service manuals, including operator manuals, service manuals, electronic schematics, troubleshooting guides, and parts lists
• The cabinet must have a see-through glass door and a 120V hospital-grade 10ft long plug-in-cord
• The cabinet must have steam humidification utilizing standard demineralized water and an integral 2.8 liter reservoir filled through front spout access
• The cabinet must have a ceiling exhaust kit and UV-C lights
