Patient Ceiling Lift Slings Replacement

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors for the replacement of patient ceiling lift slings. The slings must be compatible with the existing Guldmann ceiling lifts and meet specific requirements, including weight capacity, material, and expected lifetime. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potentially qualified businesses interested in and capable of providing the requested commodities. The key requirements for the slings include: • Weight capacity of at least 550 lbs with size medium, large, and XL, and at least 1000 lbs with size XXL • Material: Net Polyester, Polyester, or Spacer Polyester • Expected lifetime of 3-10 years • One-year warranty on defects • Loop attachments that collapse back into a flat/smooth strap when not in use • Passive RFID tag integrated into the sling for inventory tracking The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought request.
