Glynn County Animal Services Emergency Generator and ATS Installation

The Glynn County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the installation of a new 120kW generator and Service Entry Rated 800-amp Automatic Transfer Switch at the Glynn County Animal Services facility. The project includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and coordination necessary for the installation. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing the generator and transfer switch, as well as providing subcontractor services for the installation of a new concrete equipment pad and scanning and identifying underground utilities. The project requires compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Key aspects of the project include: • Installation of a new 120kW Generac Brand standby generator • Installation of a new 800-amp Service Entrance-Rated Automatic Transfer Switch • Replacement of the existing transfer switch • Provision of a new concrete equipment pad for the generator • Scanning and identification of underground utilities • Furnishing and installation of two new 3-inch conduits between the generator and the new Automatic Transfer Switch • Furnishing and installation of parallel 250 MCM copper conductors for generator feeder wiring between the generator and transfer switch
