Description
The City of Eugene is seeking bids for the construction of a safe route to school at Prairie Mountain School Crossing. The project includes the construction of concrete sidewalks, asphalt, pavement markings, signs, lighting, and other improvements. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with utilities, maintaining traffic access, and ensuring pedestrian safety. The project is expected to start after the last day of school and be completed by August 21, 2026.
• The scope of work includes construction of concrete sidewalk and sidewalk ramps, new asphalt, permanent pavement markings and signs, permanent lighting, and other improvements.
• The contractor will be required to maintain local traffic access at all times and open full road width on weekends and holidays.
• The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with utilities and ensuring pedestrian safety.
• The project is subject to prevailing wage rate requirements.
