Grace Street Playground Improvements ITB

The City of Scranton is seeking bids for the improvement of the Grace Street Playground. The scope of work includes site preparation, mobilization, and demobilization of equipment and personnel, as well as the installation of new playground equipment, safety surfaces, and site furnishings. The project also includes the construction of ADA-compliant asphalt paved walkways, concrete curb and sidewalk, and full-depth pavement restoration. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract that will remain in effect until the satisfactory completion of the project. • The project requires coordination with Certified Installers to avoid conflicts with scheduling or workmanship. • The project includes the removal of existing playground equipment, mulch safety surface, pavements, trees, signage, and site furnishings. • The project requires the supply, installation, maintenance, and removal of erosion and sediment controls. • The project includes the excavation of playground areas down to subgrade elevations necessary for new safety surfaces. • The project requires the cleaning and preparation of the existing swing set to remain for new swings and painting.
