Description
The Charlotte Public Schools is seeking a vendor to provide self-provisioned fiber maintenance services for its seven buildings. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of fiber optic cables, as well as handling unscheduled outages and customer problem reports. The vendor will also be required to provide a 24/7/365 phone number for emergency situations and to assign a list of at least three personnel to the district account.
• The project includes providing self-provisioned fiber maintenance services for seven buildings with 12 strands to each building and terminating back to the Administration Building.
• The vendor will be required to provide a block time of 50 hours per year for maintenance and repairs.
• The vendor will be required to provide an estimated replacement part cost per year.
• The vendor will be required to provide Miss Dig services estimated at $1000 per month.
• The vendor will be required to provide emergency service response and annual line inspection services.
