1.5 Ton Class 5 Service Truck

The Boone County Fiscal Court is seeking bids for a 1.5 ton class 5 service truck for each of the Fiscal Courts. The contract will be for one calendar year from the date of the bid opening, with an option to purchase two additional trucks next year under the same terms. The truck must meet specific requirements, including a gross vehicle weight rating of 19,500 lbs.+, 4x4, CA 60”, conventional towing rating of 12,000 lbs.+, and a mechanics utility service body with a right rear mounted 8,600 lb. crane. The bid must include the price for one new completed gas service truck and one new completed diesel service truck, as well as the days of delivery. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the specifications. • The bidder must provide a list of truck dealers in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Ohio who are authorized to provide warranty and service repair. • The bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The bidder must provide insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, auto liability, workers’ compensation, and umbrella/excess liability. • The bidder must submit a bid sheet, deviations and exceptions, W-9 form, certificate of insurance, and other required documents.
