Description
The City of Belleville is seeking a professional engineering firm to provide On-Call Professional Engineering services. The selected firm will be expected to aid with projects that the CITY either does not have the resources or expertise to complete. The scope of services includes plan review, stormwater management systems, streets, sidewalks, and roadways, project management and inspection, land surveying, traffic engineering and planning, land acquisition, parks, trails, grants, general on-call consultation services, sanitary sewers and combined sewer separation, and sewer treatment equipment and processes. The firm will be expected to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, permitting requirements, rules, and regulations.
• The selected firm will have a strong emphasis and understanding of IDOT policy and procedures regarding MFT, state and federal funds.
• The selected firm will have an extensive background with the inner workings of city government as it relates to the Engineering, Wastewater, Parks and Recreation departments.
• The firm will be expected to operate using the highest levels of professionalism.
• The firm will be required to provide proof of liability insurance equal to or greater than one million dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence.
