The City of Valdosta is seeking a single brand‑new tractor‑trailer unit (model year 2026 or newer) that meets a comprehensive set of performance and equipment specifications. The procurement is a sealed‑bid competitive solicitation; bids must be received before the opening on 23 June 2026. The city may later order additional units at the same price through 31 July 2027, and other government entities may “piggy‑back” the contract for up to 12 months. Vendors must provide required affidavits and complete technical documentation, and all shipping is FOB Valdosta, GA 31601.
• Vehicle must have GVWR ≈ 59,300 lb., GCW ≈ 90,000 lb., Cummins X12 engine (455 hp) and Allison 4500 RDS transmission.
• Includes a heavy‑duty low‑boy trailer, air‑slide fifth‑wheel, LED lighting, Bluetooth‑enabled cab, and full manufacturer literature.
• Mandatory compliance: Non‑Collusion Affidavit and Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit (IRCA).
• No “ASAP” delivery if a maximum delivery date is listed; shipping cost must be included in the bid price.
• Award exceeds $25,000 and therefore requires mayor‑council approval.
