Shaw AFB Pointsett LMR Tower

The US Air Force is seeking a construction contractor to build a new 120ft tower at the Poinsett Range and move the existing equipment to the new tower. The project aims to increase coverage to the range by reducing dead spots. The contractor will be responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and managing all activities necessary to achieve the objectives of the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). The key aspects of the project include: • Building a new 120ft tower • Moving existing equipment to the new tower • Installing antennas, antenna cables, and an ice bridge between the shelter and antenna • Ground ring tied into the shelter ground • Meeting the objectives and acceptance criteria defined in the SOO
