Building 54 McNair Chimneys Repair JBM-HH

The U.S. Government is seeking responses to this Sources Sought Notice from all interested 8(a) businesses capable of providing demolishing and rebuilding four existing masonry chimneys located on a pitched roof. The project aims to restore the building's exterior envelope and prevent future deterioration. The work includes demolishing and rebuilding the chimneys, removing deteriorated brickwork and stone caps, and installing reinforced cast-in-place concrete caps. The contractor will be responsible for completing all necessary repairs, ensuring that each roof is watertight and capable of withstanding future weather conditions. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work efficiently and in line with industry best practices. • The contractor must ensure that all work meets or exceeds the applicable standards, regulations, and Acts governing construction. • The contractor must employ a minimum of one competent person at each project site to function as the site safety health officer (SSHO). • The contractor must ensure that all contractor and sub-contractor employees who require physical access to JBM-HH and Fort McNair provide all information required for a check of records through databases.
