The National Park Service intends to award a single source justified cooperative agreement for a project titled "Native American Student Internship Program". The project aims to support a graduate student in researching the effects of landscape modification of bison grazing on the movements, migration, and habitat selection of other large grazers in Yellowstone National Park. The recipient will recruit and hire a graduate student to collaborate with the Bison Management Team in Yellowstone National Park. The graduate student will develop web-based tools to visualize animal movement data, develop habitat layers for spatial analysis, and complete preliminary analyses. The project is anticipated to last for 48 months, from September 1, 2019, to August 30, 2023.
