Naples Park 103rd & 104th Avenues North Public Utilities Renewal Review Project

The project involves the replacement of aging infrastructure along 103rd Avenue North and 104th Avenue North in Naples Park, including water, wastewater, and stormwater improvements, as well as roadway reconstruction. The project will be phased to minimize impacts to residents, with each phase including the installation of new water mains, sanitary sewer systems, and stormwater systems, followed by restoration of the work zone. The contractor will be required to provide a detailed plan for each phase and to complete the work within a specified timeframe. The project also includes the installation of new fire hydrants, gate valves, and sampling points, as well as the relocation of water meters and backflow preventers. • The project requires the removal and disposal of existing infrastructure, including asbestos concrete water main piping and vitrified clay gravity sewer pipe. • The project includes the installation of new 8-inch water main piping, 8-inch PVC gravity sewer pipe, and precast Reinforced Polymer Concrete manholes. • The project also includes the rebuilding of roadways, including new subgrade, new base, and new asphalt, as well as the replacement of concrete and asphalt sidewalks. • The contractor will be required to provide a matrix demonstrating their experience with similar projects, including the replacement of potable water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway improvements within built-out public rights-of-way.
