Description
The Los Angeles Department of City Planning (DCP) is seeking a contractor to lead the implementation of the ZIMAS Wildfire Recovery Enhancement Project. The project requires coordination of multidisciplinary teams, oversight of technical development, and management of timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication. The selected consultant will guide the integration of GIS, application development, and web-based tools into a cohesive platform that supports wildfire rebuild eligibility, entitlement coordination, and compliance reporting. Key responsibilities include:
• Project management: structured planning, coordination, and oversight of all activities
• Software/application development: design, development, implementation, and support of custom programming code
• Stakeholder communication: ensuring all stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle
The ideal contractor will have experience in project management, software development, and stakeholder communication, with a strong understanding of City priorities and State recovery requirements.
