Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Highways Division is seeking bids for the maintenance of landscaped areas and irrigation systems along Nimitz Highway, Kalihi Stream to Richards Street, Ala Moana Boulevard, Richards Street to Kalakaua Avenue, and Sand Island Access Road, Nimitz Highway to Auike Street, on the island of Oahu. The contract term is 36 months, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. Bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor’s “C-27” license and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the maintenance of landscaped areas and irrigation systems.
• Maintenance of landscaped areas, including planter boxes and tree trimming
• Maintenance, repair, and inspection of irrigation systems
• Litter collection, including clearing gutters, swales, and ditches
• Miscellaneous work as required
The bid price shall include all applicable taxes and fees. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
