IFQ: SPC25263015/SFHWY00687; KTN Lewis Reef Road Tunnel Lighting & Fire Suppression System Addenda

The project involves the repair and refurbishment of existing electrical lighting and fire suppression systems within the Lewis Reef Road tunnel corridor in Ketchikan, Alaska. The tunnel extends underneath the existing Ketchikan Airport runway and accesses the Gravina Island Road system. The existing systems have significantly deteriorated and are not properly functioning. The project requires the replacement of manual pull stations, fire alarm systems, and lighting systems. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is between $100,000 and $200,000. • The project requires the replacement of four manual pull stations with new ones that comply with Section 691-1.05.1 and 691-2.01.3. • The fire alarm system must be replaced with a compatible alternative that complies with the requirements of Section 691-2.01-2, 691-2.01-6, 691-2.01-7, and 691-2.01-8. • The lighting system must be replaced with a new one that maintains UL listing. • The project requires the installation of a new FACP that is NRTL-listed and complies with Section 691-1.01. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project.
