Forklifts

The US Army is seeking to purchase two forklifts, one with a 3-ton capacity and the other with a 5-ton capacity, both with all-wheel drive and 360-degree turning assembly. The forklifts must meet the latest German and European standards and safety regulations. The equipment should have a lifting height of 4000 mm, a mast type of duplex full-visibility mast, and a tilt cylinder/mast tilt of 15° forward/15° reverse. The engine should be a Stage 3B diesel engine with a minimum power of 75 PS/75 hp/55 kW. The braking system should have front and rear axle multi-disc brakes in oil, and the hydraulic system should have additional hydraulic circuits and quick-release couplings on hydraulic lines. The dimensions and ground clearance of the forklifts should be approximately 2490 mm in height, 4950 mm in length, and 8325 kg in weight, with a chassis clearance of 36 cm and a ground clearance of at least 43 cm. The cab should have a full cabin with doors, heated air ventilation, and an air-suspended comfort seat. The lighting and visibility should meet the road traffic regulation (StVZO) package, and the documentation should include TUEV papers, CE confirmation, operator manuals, and parts manuals. The manufacturer should provide on-site training for operator and maintenance personnel after delivery, and the warranty period should be 12 months.
