Description
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to procure a maintenance subscription for LARSA 4D Bridge Plus software from LARSA, Inc. The LARSA 4D Bridge Plus software is used by FLH Bridge designers to perform analysis and design of concrete segmental bridges. The maintenance program is necessary to provide technical support and keep the software up-to-date with the latest standards.
• The software is required by the Bridge Design Branch at the FLH division offices to continue present and scheduled bridge projects.
• The total estimated amount of this action is $24,000 to be expended over a one-year period of performance.
• LARSA, Inc. is the sole author and distributor of the segmental bridge analysis and design software, and the only vendor that can provide technical assistance, software upgrades, and maintenance.
