Description
The City of Columbus, Public Service Department is seeking quotations for the supply of No Turn On Red LED Blank-Out signs. The signs must be brand new, unused, and manufactured by either National Sign and Signal or Orange Traffic. The specifications include a 36" x 36" LED sign with visors, conforming to MUTCD standards, and featuring automatic night-time dimming and surge protection. The signs must also meet the minimum material and technical requirements set by the State of Ohio Department of Transportation. The quantity required is ten (10) signs.
• The signs must be blank or dark when not energized.
• The signs must have white high intensity LED's and an outline message.
• The signs must have a non-glare polycarbonate lens with UV resistant surface treatment.
• The signs must have a manufacturer-applied black finish enclosure and a black sign panel.
• The signs must meet the requirements of the State of Ohio Department of Transportation Supplemental Specification 928.
