The City of Manchester is inviting bids for the Manchester Road Pedestrian Improvements Project. The project involves the removal and replacement of existing pedestrian facilities and the installation of new pedestrian facilities along Manchester Road. The scope of work includes the construction of a new pedestrian facility, reconstruction of the existing pedestrian facility, and the replacement of curb ramps and commercial entrances to bring them into ADA compliance. Other items included in the project are pedestrian traffic signal modifications, modular block retaining walls, striping, traffic control, and more. • The project requires bidders to be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List. • A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 10, 2026. • All bidder questions must be received by February 13, 2026. • The project has a DBE goal of 6%. • No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.
