Santa Fe River Repair at Cristobal Colon

The City of Santa Fe is seeking bids for the repair of five existing A-weir cross-vane grade control structures along the Santa Fe River. The work will include reconstruction of the failed structures as grouted boulder ramps featuring integrated stilling basins, cutoff sills, and subsurface drain tiles to mitigate erosion and seepage risks. The project also includes site preparation, removal and demolition, earthwork and grading, installation of grouted boulder structures, erosion control and site restoration, and traffic control. • The project requires a comprehensive Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) detailing both temporary and permanent erosion control measures. • The contractor shall provide a site plan prior to the start of construction, detailing the location of staging area, planned access route, location of port-a-potties, concrete washout station, fueling and refueling area, and trackpad. • The contractor shall perform excavation, cutting, and filling operations as needed to bring the site to the required subgrade elevations. • The contractor shall install new boulder A-weir cross vein grade control structures and grout existing boulders. • The contractor shall provide all required traffic signage, barricades, flagging operations, and detours in accordance with applicable City of Santa Fe and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards.
