Public Works Shop Gretna - Maintenance Lot Expansion

The Sarpy County Public Works Department is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing gravel parking lot at the Public Works Shop in Gretna with a new concrete parking lot. The project includes excavation and grading of the site, removal of material, sub-base preparation, forms works, saw cutting, reinforcement, concrete work and finishing, joining to existing work, water run-off control, utility locates, and striping. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to complete the project. The project must be completed within 90 days of the start date, and the contractor must ensure that the work is done in a diligent and continuous manner without unnecessary interruptions. • The project requires a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price. • The successful vendor will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid amount. • The vendor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, including those related to employment, immigration, and environmental protection. • The vendor must provide proof of insurance, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability insurance. • The vendor must submit a monthly itemized invoice for payment, and the county will make payment within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
