Description
The State of South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide new poly‑blend white linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc.) and full‑service laundry support for two state parks—Givhans Ferry and Edisto Beach. The contract will be awarded separately for each park (Lot A and Lot B) and will run for up to five years with a one‑year initial term and up to four optional one‑year extensions. Vendors must submit unit prices for the “peak month” quantities shown in the Lot Calculation spreadsheet; the total contract value will be based on those monthly prices multiplied over the contract period. The work includes regular delivery schedules (bi‑weekly or weekly), handling of clean/soiled linen, replacement of lost or damaged items, and compliance with insurance, tax, and resident‑preference requirements.
• Provide and maintain inventory of poly‑blend white linen items (queen sheets, pillow cases, dish towels, bath towels, etc.) for each park.
• Deliver linen on a set frequency (bi‑weekly for Givhans Ferry during summer, weekly for Edisto Beach) and handle pickup of soiled items for laundering.
• Replace any unusable or lost linen per the Replacement Pricing Sheet; no substitutions of material or size without State approval.
• Submit a single electronic bid per lot using the provided Excel pricing template, include the signed cover page, and keep the bid open for at least 30 days after the opening.
