SLED 504 (MD 500E) Modification/ Upgrade

The SLED Aviation Unit is seeking to modify/upgrade the FLIR Thermal Camera on SLED 504 by removing the current FLIR camera mount from the nose position and placing a new mounting system on the right side of the helicopter. The new mounting system will use a side mount “Meeker” Mount P/N -AP500UM033R with the Fargo Tank option, which will also accommodate the Trakka Beam search light. • The project involves modifying the helicopter's camera system • The new mounting system will be installed on the right side of the helicopter • The system will accommodate the Trakka Beam search light • The SLED Aviation Unit is the purchasing entity
