2025 CDBG Wastewater Lagoon Improvements project

The Town of Kilmichael is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the 2025 CDBG Wastewater Lagoon Improvements project. The project involves earthwork to repair the lagoon levee and placing rip rap on the interior levee slope. The contractor will be required to comply with the Build America, Buy America Act and Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. The contract time is 120 consecutive calendar days, and liquidated damages will be assessed for each day beyond the specified contract time. • The project requires the contractor to have a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. • The contractor must submit a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to five percent of their bid. • The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. • Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities.
