IWTF Microfiltration Feed Tank Replacement

The Pinellas County Solid Waste department is seeking a contractor to replace a 12,150-gallon single-wall tank at the Industrial Water Treatment Facility (IWTF). The tank is the Microfiltration Feed Tank that holds industrial water awaiting processing through the Microfiltration system. The scope of services includes: an exact drawing of fittings placement, tank and all necessary fittings and auxiliary equipment, installation of the tank, hydrotesting of the installed tank to place into service, and disposal of the existing tank. • The tank replacement must meet specific requirements, including a 12,150-gallon vertical IMFO tank with a 1.65 specific gravity wall thickness and Crosslinked Polyethylene (XLPE) material. • The contractor must provide a three-year warranty for the tank and its components. • The contractor must have experience in projects with similar size and capacity. • The contractor must be licensed and able to provide four references. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
