Description
Paulding County is soliciting qualification-based proposals for engineering design services for an intersection improvement project at Winn Road and South Paulding High School in unincorporated Paulding County. The project must be designed to achieve at least a Level of Service “C” 20 years from the base/open year. Initial evaluation of alternatives for intersection improvements favors installation of a single lane roundabout at this location. The proposal requires two submittals per package: Technical Proposals and Cost Proposal. The selection process will be based on experience and performance criteria, including possession of high ethical and professional standing, recent planning experience, design of roundabout projects, ability to complete work on time and within budget, qualifications of personnel, stability of the firm and its workforce, knowledge of the planning process and design criteria, and financial soundness of the proposer.
