The County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department is seeking bids for the replacement of 340 Panasonic CF-31 MK5 touch screen panels for their mobile data computers (MDC) on Sheriff’s Department’s front-line vehicles. The panels must meet specific requirements, including dimension, material, and functionality. The bidder must provide detailed literature on the proposed unit and ensure that it meets California and County of Los Angeles safety requirements.
• The panels must be new, unused, and compatible with Panasonic CF-31 MK5 touch screen mobile data computers.
• The panels must have a specific dimension (11.181 in x 8.49 in x 0.64 in) and material composition.
• The panels must be sunlight readable, hard coated, and have an anti-glare removable overlay.
• The bidder must provide a flex tail connector to Touchscreen Driver with gold plated fingers for conductivity.
