Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $15,000,000

The budget for this project can be estimated based on the scope of work and the requirements of the project. The renovation of approximately 8,000 square feet on the third floor of the Upstate Downtown Campus, including the creation of a new class 2 interventional radiology procedure room, pre- and post-procedure patient care area, waiting room, a diagnostic ultrasound with patient toilet, patient holding bays, a resident lounge, offices, and other staff support spaces, is a significant project that requires a substantial investment. The estimated budget for this project could be in the range of $5 million to $15 million, considering the cost of materials, labor, and equipment required for the project. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget could be higher or lower, depending on various factors such as the complexity of the project, the experience and reputation of the contractor, and the availability of materials and labor. The budget is also influenced by the M/WBE goals, which require the selected contractor to comply with an 18% MBE and 12% WBE participation of the total contract value. This could impact the overall cost of the project and the budget to the contractor.
