The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking quotations for the supply of magnet wire, specifically NEMA MW1000 magnet wire, heavy build, with a double layer of polyester/glass insulation and an epoxy varnish. The wire should be shipped on six separate 24” reels, each weighing 220 lbs, with a total weight of 1320 lbs. The wire should be one continuous length, and all reels must be shipped standing on edge. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. The evaluation criteria will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable.
