Macomb - As-Needed Forestry Services for State Trunklines

The State of Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide as-needed forestry services on state trunklines within the Macomb Transportation Service Center. Services will include tree trimming, tree and shrub removal. The contractor will be required to register with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity and have a Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s Certificate. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who receives a PASS for each criterion and has the lowest price. • Mandatory minimum requirements include registration with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity and having a Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s Certificate. • The contractor must provide documentation to support the mandatory minimum requirements. • The State will evaluate each proposal based on the following criteria: Confidential Treatment Form, Vendor Questionnaire, Schedule A, Agreement with Standard Contract Terms, and LEO Registration Form. • The contract will be for as-needed forestry services, suggesting a potential long-term agreement.
