Cellular Distributed Antenna System for the North County Wellness Center Project

The County of San Mateo is seeking a firm to provide design, procurement, programming, and installation services for a Cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the North County Wellness Center. The project consists of a new DAS system that will provide two-way cellular voice and data coverage throughout the facility. The system must support multiple carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile/Sprint, and must be 5G-ready. The selected firm will be responsible for designing, engineering, procuring, and installing the DAS system, as well as providing training and documentation to the County's maintenance staff. • The project will consist of two phases: Phase 1 - Design, Engineering, Submittal, and Procurement, and Phase 2 - Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and Warranty. • The selected firm will be required to provide a minimum of one year warranty on all materials, workmanship, programming, and performance. • The firm will also be required to provide quarterly verification testing to ensure that all carrier frequencies are within recommended requirements. • The project is expected to be completed within 365 days. • The County is seeking a firm with experience in designing, engineering, and installing DAS systems, and with a strong understanding of the technical requirements of the project.
