Description
The project involves improvements to Market Street and Fifth Street, including sidewalks, closed drainage, parking, pedestrian lighting, signage, and reconstruction of the roadway. The projects will extend from Fifth Street and High Street to Beckett, to Fourth Street and Market, down Market Street to Front Street, and down Front Street to Windsor Harbor. The contractor shall have a start date of November 1, 2026, and a completion date of October 1, 2027.
• The contractor must attend the Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at the Jefferson County Annex building.
• The contractor shall adhere to the currently effective 2025 Edition of the “Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction,” and the currently effective “MoDOT Standard Plans for Highway Construction.”
• The contractor shall provide a minimum 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project.
