RFQ PARKS- On-Call Structural Engineering Consultants for Parks & Recreation Projects

The City of Issaquah seeks to secure the services of on-call structural engineering consultants to provide a range of design support and structural engineering services for Parks and Community Services projects. The selected consultant will be required to provide services such as structural feasibility studies, existing structure evaluations, structural risk assessments, and seismic screening. The consultant will also be responsible for designing foundations and structures, paving, roadways, and bridges. The City intends to retain up to two on-call firms to ensure that a variety of specialties are represented. • The contract will be for a period of two years with an opportunity for one-year extensions upon mutual agreement. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive minor irregularities in any submittal. • The consultant must comply with all applicable State, Federal, and City laws, ordinances, regulations, and codes. • The consultant must provide a Certificate of Insurance with endorsement pages naming the City of Issaquah as additional insured. • The consultant must obtain a City of Issaquah Business License prior to award.
