423 CES Recycling Baler

The 501 CSW/RCO is seeking potential sources to supply and install a recycling baler to the 423 CES, RAF Alconbury, UK. The baler must meet specific safety standards and have certain features such as a braking system, 3-phase power, and a loading aperture of 1100 mm width and 700 mm height. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary transportation, loading/unloading, equipment, power tools, materials, labor, installation, and operational training. • The safety standard must be EN 16500:20-2014 • The baler must have a braking system on the compactor unit • The power requirement is 3-phase 3 x 400 V, 50 Hz • The loading aperture must be 1100 mm width and 700 mm height • The press force must be 20 Tons (200kN) • The noise level must be less than 72db • The baler must be able to handle shredded paper, plastic wrap, and plastic bottles
