Services to Support Training Development

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking a contractor to provide services to support training development and delivery for the FBI's Counterterrorism Division, Development and Preparedness Unit (DPU). The contractor will provide subject matter expertise and instruction related to clandestine laboratory safety, explosive precursor chemicals, and hazardous material investigations. The contractor will also provide Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threat lectures to support DPU as it conducts training. The scope of work includes developing curriculum regarding clandestine laboratory safety, explosive precursor chemicals, hazardous material investigations, and threat detection. The period of performance for this contract is approximately 5 years, with a base year and four option years. • The contractor will provide instructional fees and travel costs for the base year and option years. • The contractor will develop curriculum and provide instruction related to clandestine laboratory safety, explosive precursor chemicals, and hazardous material investigations. • The contractor will provide WMD threat lectures to support DPU as it conducts training. • The place of performance will be determined by DPU and may include FBI and DOJ facilities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, as well as other locations.
