Fencing Repair & Replacement - Secondary Contractors (Disaster Contract)

The City of Fort Myers is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide fencing services, including new installations, repairs, and maintenance for various types of fencing. The services will be provided on an as-needed basis, and the City reserves the right to utilize secondary contractors at its discretion. The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the work in accordance with the specifications and applicable codes. The Contractor must have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience in the business and meet other qualifications outlined in the solicitation. • The Contractor will be responsible for providing a firm cost estimate for requested work prior to the issuance of a purchase order. • The Contractor must have the ability to research parts and supplies for specialty equipment or special circumstances. • The Contractor must provide efficient and rapid customer response at all times via phone or email. • The Contractor must notify the City Project Manager within 4 hours of receipt of a Purchase Order if unable to fill the order or meet the bid delivery requirements. • The Contractor must deliver the service within 5 business days from receipt of the purchase order/work order, unless pre-approved by the Project Manager. • The Contractor must provide a responsible, knowledgeable, English-speaking work site Supervisor/Representative at all times. • The Contractor must ensure that all work is completed in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
