SCBA Breathing Air Compressor System

The City of Aurora is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of a new SCBA breathing air compressor system. The system should include a two-position containment fill station, a 5500 PSI priority fill panel, and an integrated rack for four UN/ISO storage cylinders. The compressor should be designed for continuous-duty fire service applications, with a minimum 2-year manufacturer's warranty. The successful bidder will be required to provide routine and emergency inspection and maintenance, as well as training for City of Aurora employees. • The system must comply with NFPA 1989, NFPA 1901, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134, and CGA G-7.1 standards. • The compressor should have a minimum 10 HP motor, with a free air delivery of approximately 15.9 SCFM at 6,000 psi. • The fill station should be fully rated to 5500 PSI, with a containment chamber and operator protection. • The system should include automatic start/stop with pressure switch, emergency stop button, and integrated with fill station controls. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a minimum of 3 days of training for City of Aurora employees.
