FORKLIFT

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking to replace two 10,000 lbs. capacity forklifts. The contractor shall provide two forklifts with a capacity of at least 10,000 lbs. each, meeting specific requirements such as diesel power, mast height, side shift capability, and fork positioner. The forklifts will be used in and around the M6 facilities. The contract will be awarded to the responsible vendor whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. • The forklifts must have a capacity of at least 10,000 lbs. at 24" load center. • The forklifts must be diesel powered with DS safety classification. • The mast must be capable of 185 inches of load height, with full capacity valid to at least 165 inches of load height. • The forklifts must have side shift capability of at least 59". • The forklifts must have a fork positioner and two sets of forks (72" long standard taper forks and 48" long standard taper forks). • The forklifts must have pneumatic tires with dual drive tires, an audible reverse alarm, and side view mirrors on the left and right side.
